In Mar 2013 I received (thanks J Holderness) the following helpful information about some publications/books containing the tree swing pictures prior to 1975, researched via Google books: Mexican-American Review, Volume 41 American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico, 1973; The One Best System: A History of American Urban Education, 1974; Marketing in the Common Market: a guide to selling in the EEC Pan Books, 1973; and Ohio Schools, Volume 50 Ohio Education Association, 1972. If anyone has copies of these books I'm keen to see the pictures and whether any are attributed. The 1972 Ohio Schools publication contains an attribution (close to the tree swing pictures) to a John Miller from Missouri ('...By John Miller in the Catalyst, Hazelwood [Mo.] Community Teachers Association...'). Sadly the online book viewer enables only page snippets to be seen, and an actual old copy of the book itself seems not available for sale anywhere. If anyone has physical access to this book I'd be grateful for clarification of what the Miller attribution refers to.
